Frequently Asked Questions
- Why does Baptist Health Care Foundation need financial assistance from supporters?
- As the philanthropic entity of the area’s only community-owned and locally governed health care system, Baptist Health Care Foundation depends on the generosity of donors to fund vital programs and services. Many of these initiatives would not be possible without the continued support of our community.
- I support other causes already. Why should I support Baptist Health Care Foundation?
- The Foundation’s administrative and overhead expenses are paid for by Baptist Health Care, meaning 100% of your donation goes directly to support patient care, essential programs and advanced technology within Baptist. Our donors can take comfort in knowing their contributions directly enhance Baptist's award-winning services for all our patients. All donations to the Foundation stay local and benefit those in need in our community.
- Will my gift make a difference?
- Absolutely! Every gift, no matter the size, is meaningful and has a significant impact on Baptist Health Care. Your contribution plays an essential role in supporting our Mission of helping people throughout life’s journey. Small gifts add up quickly and inspire others to give as well. Foundations, corporations and major individual donors often look for strong community support before committing to a cause, and your gift helps build that foundation.
- How might my gift be used?
- Your gift to the Baptist Health Care Foundation can make a meaningful impact in many ways. Donations can either be directed to the greatest need or designated by you to support specific programs within the organization. To view a list of Foundation funds, visit our Funding Priorities page.
