Sponsorship Opportunities for the 9th Annual Bras Across the Bridge

PENSACOLA, Fla. (Aug. 1, 2018) – Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 9th Annual Bras Across the Bridge, presented by Baptist Health Care Foundation and Pensacola Honda along with partners The Grand Marlin Restaurant & Oyster Bar, Soft Rock 94.1, Magic 106.1, Nash 102.7 and WEAR ABC3 - WFGX 35.

Breast cancer survivors, their loved ones and the community are invited to participate. The crowd will make its way across the Bob Sikes Bridge with bras strung together as a show of awareness and support in the fight against breast cancer. One hundred percent of funds raised will benefit the Baptist Health Care Foundation’s Mammogram Fund, which provides free mammograms to women who are not financially able to afford one on their own. Funds will also be used to raise awareness and support for early detection.

This year’s event is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the foot of the bridge in The Grand Marlin Pensacola Beach parking lot. Join us after the event for the Bras Across the Bridge after-party at The Grand Marlin from 9:30 a.m. until noon. The celebration will include a silent auction, live music, activities and drink specials.

The 2017 event raised more than $25,000. Over the years, free screenings have been provided to 2,006 women. As a result of these screenings, 391 women required additional testing, 47 required biopsies and 18 were diagnosed with breast cancer. The bras will be donated to local organizations that help women and girls in need.

Event registration is opening soon. For more information or sponsorship opportunities, please visit BaptistHealthCareFoundation.org or contact foundation@bhcpns.org or 850.469.7906.
