Baptist Health Care Foundation Mammogram Fund Provides Life-Saving Screenings to Local Women in Need

PENSACOLA, Fla. (Oct. 5, 2021) – Throughout the month of October, Baptist Health Care Foundation, along with presenting partner, Our Local Honda Dealer, and community partner, Bank of America, will raise funds and awareness about the Foundation’s Mammogram Fund, which provides mammograms year-round to women in need in our communities.

The mammogram program remains vitally important as Baptist continues to serve the needs of its patients. In the past 12 years, screenings have been provided to 2,388 women. As a result of these screenings, 562 women required additional testing, 73 required biopsies and 25 were diagnosed with breast cancer.

This year, the Foundation is offering a chance-to-win drawing to support its Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative. Tickets are available at one for $25 or five for $100. The drawing will take place live on the Baptist Health Care Foundation Facebook page on Nov. 1. The prize drawing will include a $300 gift card for The Grand Marlin Pensacola Beach, a two-night stay at Oyster Bay Boutique Hotel (restrictions apply) and a jewelry item from Jewelers Trade Shop.

For more information, contact foundation@bhcpns.org or 850.469.7906. To participate in the drawing, text Pink21 to 76278 or visit Pink21.givesmart.com. To make a direct gift to the Mammogram Fund, visit baptisthealthcarefoundation.org/mammogram-appeal.
