43rd Annual Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show Raises More Than $130,000 to Build a Playground at Lakeview Center
PENSACOLA, Fla. (Oct. 21, 2019) – The 43rd annual Stepping Out in Style Fashion Show, presented by the Women’s Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation, raised more than $130,000 to build a new playground for the autism spectrum disorder program at Lakeview Center. This program assists families and children through the use of Applied Behavior Analysis by teaching adaptive living, communication, safety and social skills to children.
“We are honored to partner with Lakeview Center on this project that is so near and dear to our hearts,” said Heather Moorer, development director for Baptist Health Care Foundation. “This new playground will provide a safe space for children to learn and play in a fun, therapeutic setting.”
The sold-out fashion show is the largest fundraiser for the Women’s Board of Baptist Health Care Foundation. Professional and local celebrity models showcased the latest fashions from Bluetique, cabi by independent stylists Jennie and Marly, The Market and Mainly Shoes, and The South Outfitters.
